Baby Tap

Age Group: 3-5

This is a 45 minute class where we teach our students the basic tap steps and techniques. We only spend 20 to 25 minutes on these techniques; we use the second half of class playing fun tap games that challenge our students physically and mentally, while preparing them for performance. These classes are recreation only.

Pre-Tap

Age Group: 5-6

This is a 45 minute tap class in which we teach our students the basic tap steps and techniques, while also introducing vocabulary. We spend the first 30 to 35 minutes of class with this technique. The 2nd half is spent playing fun and energetic tap games that challenge our students physically and mentally, while preparing them for performance. These classes are recreation only.

Beginner Tap

This is a 45 minute high energy, fun filled tap class. We teach our students the basic tap steps, technique, and terminology in the first 20-25 minutes of this class. the 2nd half of this class is to challenge our students physically and mentally with fun dance based games while also preparing the students for performance. This class is for recreation only.

Intermediate Tap

This is a 45 minute high energy tap class. We teach our students the basic tap steps and start to introduce style and performance. We also challenge our students physically and mentally with dance based games, while also preparing them for performance. These classes are recreational only!

Advanced Tap

This is a 45 minute high energy tap class. At this level practice makes dance perfect. While spending a lot of this class on technique and repetition of tap, we also address personal awareness of personality in performance and style! These classes are recreational only!

Dress Code

All students must wear hair pulled up and off their face. It is mandatory that all students come properly dressed for dance class; tights are a must to keep leg muscles warm.
