Baby BalletAge Group: 3-5 This is a 45min ballet class that introduces the upper body, arm and hand placement, as well as body lines, leg and feet position and placement. In our baby ballet class we also have a fun and energetic way of teaching are students the proper way to stretch and breath. In this class, we are preparing the student for their first performance. These classes are recreation only. Pre-BalletAge Group: 5-6 This is a 45min ballet class that introduces the upper body, arm and hand placement, as well as body lines, leg and feet position and placement. In are Pre-Ballet class we also have a fun and energetic way of teaching are students the proper way to stretch and breath while starting to introduce some of the basic terminology of ballet. This class also is preparing the student for performance. These classes are recreational only. Beginner BalletAge Groups: 7-9 This is a 45min ballet class that introduces the upper body, arm and hand placement, as well as body lines, leg and feet position and placement. At this age and level we also start to address pose, discipline, to stretch and breath the proper way, while starting to introduce some of the basic terminology of ballet. Short dance combinations are taught in this class and will be used to strengthen the ability of the student’s memory and prepare them for performance. These are recreational classes only. Intermediate BalletAge Group: 9-12 This is a 45min ballet class that introduces the upper body, arm and hand placement, as well as body lines, leg and feet position and placement. At this age and level we also start to address pose, discipline, to stretch and breath the proper way, while starting to introduce some of the basic terminology of ballet. Short dance combinations are taught in this class and will be used to strengthen the ability of the student’s memory and prepare them for performance. These are recreational classes only. Advance BalletAge Group: 13+ This is a 45min ballet class in which we focus on technique, developing style, and performance. At this level we still concentrate on the correct way of breathing while performing. In this class we challenge are students physically and mentally by teaching across the floor exercises and high energy combinations, while expanding are ballet terminology Dress CodeAll students must wear their hair pulled back in a bun. It is mandatory that all students come properly dressed for dance class; tights are a must to keep leg muscles warm.
